THE TECHNOLOGY

KCP is a distributor of the Zing team meeting and learning platform and develops titles for authors that make best use of the technology for their needs. The system is fully customisable including on-screen language, check lists, methods and software tools. The Facilitator’s training manual has been modularised so it is easy for an author to create their own manual incorporating the standard Zing training methods. Many ways to Connect

The Zing technology allows people to connect face-to-face, across the internet, team-room-to-team-room, or anything in between:

  • Portable: This portable system allows consultants to set up a conference, seminar or training room in 15-minutes using the Zing portable system with 12 keyboards, a notebook computer and data projector.
  • Face-to-face: Schools and corporates establish permanent meeting rooms used by project teams or as a shared resource.
  • Internet: The internet version allows up to 96 people to participate in a meeting from anywhere in the world.
  • Team-to-team: This variant of the Internet software, allows multiple teams to quickly connect team rooms and individuals into a meeting anywhere in the world.
The Zing software

The technology comes in face -to-face and web based versions that are very robust, reliable and simple to use and customise. Anyzing 5 is the face-to-face software and is fully customisable. The software is written in Visual Basic 6. The software can be customised as follows: * Splash screen when the software starts. Includes the name, a graphic and legal items * Software name, icons * Help system * All language appearing on the screen in dialogue boxes, commands, instructions for operating the vote, sort and weight tools, customisation of the software etc. * Session templates for meetings, vote and sort tools. * Images and web-sites linked to the session templates.
Zingthing 3 is the internet software. It is written in Java and can be customised as follows: * Splash screen when the software starts.
